PLEASE READ – Downtown Impact – Plainfield Fest 2018

Downtown Business / Resident Notification

Please accept our courtesy notice of sharing some upcoming new areas of use around the downtown for our Village Festival to be held July 20th-22nd, 2018.

This will mark the 37th Year for Plainfield Fest, in which each year organizers have drawn many from within Plainfield and the surrounding areas, presenting a Festival celebrating our historic village.

The Plainfield Riverfront Foundation is entering our 8th Year as the lead local organization presenting Plainfield Fest. We have been very fortunate to have the support of residents and businesses throughout these past years. As our festival has grown, we are confident we have been able to highlight the Village of Plainfield as a destination to Live, Work, and Visit, partaking in our rich history and various offerings of restaurants & shopping amenities.

With our tremendous growth and support in providing a family friendly destination every summer, we have enhanced some usage of space to accommodate attendees during the three-day event.

(July 20th 4pm-Midnight, July 21st 11am-Midnight, July 22nd Noon-6pm)

Please review the bullet points below outlining changes of moving our Entertainment Tent from the now privately-owned Fire Station One, to now across the street utilizing the following near Des Plaines Street & Oak Street.
